Jazz na garnki i patelnie

Eklektyczne miniatury amerykańskiego pianisty Uri Caine’ego zakończyły w niedzielę wrocławski festiwal Jazztopad, który rangą, liczbą wydarzeń i oryginalnością pomysłów wspiął się na europejskie wyżyny.

Caine napisał sześć„Kaprysów” na specjalne zamówienie festiwalu Jazztopad, a wykonał je z kwartetem smyczkowym Lutosławskiego i perkusistą Benem Petrowskim. Pełne rytmicznych zwrotów i harmonicznych zmian utwory okazały się bardzo wymagające dla wykonawców.

Since 2007, JazzPlaysEurope supports emerging artists in Europe by organizing exchange concerts, concert tours and artists residencies with promising bands and musicians: More than 20 individual projects toured Europe in the last 5 years.

We are honored to be invited by Flagey to close the winterjazz festival 2012 at 28th of january with a triple concert of our main artistic project, the jazzplayseurope laboratory.

Celebrate 20 of the most promising artists coming from 7 countries brought together in three unique labs touring across the continent from 2009-11 and now presented exclusively all together at one special concert evening at the winterjazz Festival of the Flagey in Brussels:
